Good morning!
I just woke up after my first night of performing The Sun. I debuted the new golden gown and giant golden wings. My costume has dreamy oriental style! I feel like goddess Isis in it! I have been staying up until 5am every night for rehearsals. So, hope you will like it as much as I do.
The Sun
A large, bright sun shines in the sky, representing the source of life on Earth, but it’s scorching rays are also burning everything on its path from dawn to dusk. The sun wakes up at sunrise and illuminates the sand dunes and at sunset lights up with a bright red fire to go out for good until the cycle repeats again…
It is certainly one of the hottest performances in my repertoire. Initially, the number was confined to the role-play 1001 nights, where I was dancing Scheherazade’s dance with a belly dance elements. It turned out to be so authentic and so frank, that I decided to create a separate solo number with an oriental flavour and motive.
